Relate on Purpose

This is a space for people and communities who are ready to do relationships—internal, interpersonal, and collective—with more clarity, care, and intention. You're invited to begin here—with curiosity and a willingness to be seen.

I’m Jessica Morgenthaler (she/her), and at my core, I’m someone who believes that people deserve to be understood in all their nuance—especially in moments that feel confusing, messy, or hard to name. I’ve always been drawn to the spaces in between: between people, between ideas, between what we feel and what we’re allowed to say out loud.

My formal training includes Masters of Social Work (MSW), Transformational Justice Mediator, and Licensed Psilocybin Facilitator. Regardless of my licensures or the trainings that may inform my approach, my essence is that of a translator—but not of languages. I help make meaning out of emotional patterns, relational friction, and the systems that shape how we connect. I’m not here to fix anyone. I’m here to ask questions, that promote introspection and awareness, to witness what’s real, and to hold space for continued growth that allows you to be your whole self.

My values are simple but not small: clarity, consent, curiosity, and care. I believe in repair, in autonomy, and in relationships that are co-created—not inherited by default. I’m committed to equity not just as a buzzword, but as a practice that shapes how I offer my services, how I show up, and who this work is for.

Outside of all that, I’m just me—authentic, thoughtful, a little bit rebellious, and someone who genuinely loves helping people feel more honest, more whole, and more at home in themselves and their relationships.

Why I Do This Work

We aren’t taught to honor what’s true within us—we’re taught to manage how others feel about us. To please, perform, and keep the peace. Most people don’t start unlearning that until something ruptures—a relationship, a belief system, a part of their identity—and they realize they can’t keep living out of alignment.

This work begins in those moments of disruption, when the mask starts to crack and the real questions emerge: Who am I? What do I need? What would it look like to live with integrity, even if it’s uncomfortable?

But it doesn’t stop at the self. Healing isn’t just for self-actualization—it’s preparation. It’s how we learn to hold space for others without collapsing or controlling. It’s how we interrupt the pendulum swing between people-pleasing and individualism, and move toward something collaborative: Let’s navigate this together.

This is just as true in intimate relationships as it is in communities and professions. We need more people—especially those in healing roles—who are willing to examine the frameworks they were taught and explore how to support alternative ways of relating without continuing to apply them to social, outdated norms.

This work is about returning to yourself so you can meet others more fully. It's personal, relational, and deeply collective.

Wisdom is power. Joy is freedom. And living in alignment is the real revolution.
